The Steelers are bringing back cornerback James Pierre on a one-year deal, per the Steeler’s official Twitter account.

Bringing back Pierre ensures the Steelers have depth at the cornerback position and quality at the position. Pierre finished 2022 with a PFF grade of 69.9 and 67.7 in coverage.
He also grabbed one interception with a passer rating allowed of 59.2. Pierre has been a sub-package corner for the Steelers, and his position on the team is expected to remain the same.
