Steelers Pre-Draft visits continue to come in as the 2023 NFL Draft is closing in and the Steelers are bringing in the last of their top 30 pre-draft visits.
Today, the Steelers brought in 3 more talents, all offensive players.
Steelers hosted a quarterback among their pre-draft visitors today as the visits wind down.
Three total: Houston QB Clayton Tune, Tennessee OT Darnell Wright and Georgia TE Darnell Washington

The biggest name being OT Darnell Wright out of Tennessee. Early reports show the Steelers loved Wright and the idea of Darnell Wright being the pick at 17 is picking up, especially with the top 3 left tackles probably being taken before the 17th overall pick.
Darnell Wright can play either tackle position and is regarded as a first-round prospect. In nearly 900 snaps last year at RT, he allowed zero sacks.
TE Darnell Washington out of Georgia is a freakish tight end with his size (6’7″, 264 lbs) and athletic showing at the NFL Combine. He’s a great blocking TE that didn’t see a lot of receiving production while starting for the Bulldogs, but he can get vertical and be a threat in the passing game.
Steelers interest in Georgia prospects appears to be increasing the last couple years, drafting George Pickens last year, attending the Georgia Pro Day on a yearly basis, and bringing in OT Broderick Jones for a Steelers Pre-Draft visit just yesterday.
The idea of adding another big tight end is quite intriguing and he’d pair nicely with Pat Freiermuth. He could be the run blocking TE the Steelers lack and would add another big body to the offense.
Although drafting a tight end early is very unlikely with the return of the entire TE core from last year, Washington would be a BPA option and is projected to go sometime day 2.
QB Clayton Tune out of Houston is the second QB the Steelers have brought in for a Steelers Pre-Draft visit. The first being Jaren Hall out of BYU.
The Steelers clearly want a third QB on the depth chart and late day 3 is probably the likely spot the Steelers will select one.
Clayton Tune is a tough QB, a natural competitor who can use his legs to extends plays and is very safe with the football.
All the Steelers need now is a third string QB. Steelers have shown interest in some of the late round guys so expect them to take a QB late in the 2023 NFL Draft.
