The Steelers make their first new coaching addition of the offseason due to the losses of Brian Flores and John Mitchell.
Steelers are expected to hire Aaron Curry, former NFL linebacker and former 4th overall pick for the Seattle Seahawks in 2009. He most recently worked with the Seahawks as a coaching/defensive assistant for their defensive line/defensive ends.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to hire former NFL linebacker Aaron Curry as a linebackers coach, sources tell @on3sports.
Curry, the 2009 top-five draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks, was part of the Seahawks’ coaching staff the last four seasons.https://t.co/DlIXY67ten

He is now the youngest coach on the Steelers coaching staff at only 36 years old and is expected to coach the outside linebacker’s position.
He adds youth and solid coaching experience after 4 years under Pete Carroll’s coaching staff where he found success last year with Seattle’s pass-rushing tandem.
Significant departure for the #Seahawks coaching staff. Aaron Curry coached Seattle's OLBs in 2022 (EDGEs), when both Uchenna Nwosu and Darrell Taylor had 9.5 sack-seasons. The Seahawks, 3-4 in def personnel, will need to replace this OLB coach role. No obvious in-house candidate https://t.co/7QVKXWxq2F

More coaching hires are expected to fill in the aforementioned losses in the last couple of weeks.
