It’s Senior Bowl week, and the Steelers have many scouts to eye talent for the NFL Draft.
The National Team’s DC for the Senior Bowl is the Steelers secondary coach Grady Brown. Brian Flores also made the trip (good indication he stays with the Steelers?). New scout Ike Taylor is also there and, of course, general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin are front and center.
No assistant general manager Andy Weidl, but seeing how he built the Eagles offensive line, the focus should remain the same even with him, not the rest of the front office.
Tomlin was very zoned in on the offensive line groups today, and this is great to hear! Tomlin isn’t shy to reveal his focus for the draft.

Last year it was all about the QBs, which landed them Kenny Pickett 20th overall. This year, it’s a great start on what the Steelers must address.
The offensive line is still the most significant need on the team, so to see Tomlin and the company focus on this mainly is an excellent sign.
To make this news sound a little more optimistic, the Steelers eyed other positions, such as defensive line and, yes, even punters. The Steelers have some excellent draft capital this year, and it appears they’re scouting the trenches early. This adds extra excitement to a must-see offseason.
