Former Steelers CB Cam Sutton signs with the Lions on a 3-year $33M deal

Former Steelers cornerback Cam Sutton who was not resigned in February signed with the Detroit Lions today. The deal per Ian Rapoport is a 3-year contract worth $33M with $22.5 in guaranteed money.

Sutton proved to be the Steelers number one corner in 2022 getting three interceptions and a passing rating allowed of 69.6.

The Steelers now have a giant hole at the cornerback position and will likely address it at the 2023 NFL Draft. It’s expected the Steelers will be targeting Penn State’s corner Joey Porter Jr.
