A reunion will not be happening for the Pittsburgh Steelers and OLB Bud Dupree. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Bud Dupree will sign a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

Although Bud Dupree visited the Steelers on March 30th about a possible reunion, no contract details were discussed then.
Had Dupree returned to Pittsburgh, he would’ve been the critical depth piece behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith.
With Bud now going to Atlanta, the Steelers will continue to look for EDGE depth, which currently is very bare.
There are some very intriguing names still in FA at EDGE. Leonard Floyd, and Yannick Ngakoue, to name a few.
But with the NFL Draft less than two weeks away, it’s also possible they could draft an EDGE player for depth. Which round, however, is anybody’s guess.
Whatever decision the Steelers choose to make will be something to keep an eye out for.
